BACKGROUND

Home economicsdomestic science or home science is a field of study that deals with the economics and management of the home, family and community. It deals with the relationship between individuals, families, communities, and the environment in which they live and focuses on understanding daily issues (such as clothing and nutrition, relationships, shelter) and improving aspects of life that impact individuals, families and communities  etc.  Home Economics is widely recognized as the most important precondition for families and households to improve their lives and prevent poverty.
