With the ever increasing demand for the limited places available, admission to Sammo High School is very competitive. Only half of those who apply are admitted. Admission is solely based on merit. However, exceptions are made for Ghanaian students with poor BECE performance but are ready and willing to learn

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants from Junior High School in Ghana must obtain at least grade one or two in six subjects of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) offered by the West African Examination Council (WAEC). Foreign applicants must present credentials equivalent to the Ghanaian BECE. There are however very limited places for applicants abroad. Most enrolling first year students are of 14years of age. However, there is no age requirement.
